| In my opinion Civilization IV is a really good game. You start off in like in the younger stone age (or what ever it's called in english) and expand your empire till modern age. You can do all sorts of stuff to build your own empire while you adapt to the situation, like who is your enemy, who is your friend and resources and stuff, it's pretty amazing in my opinion Here's two pictures from it ^^ The graphics aren't the fanciest (except the leader character models) but they do their job more than well, and that's enough for me, not many games offer the same in a way of a complex gaming experience.

Why wait half a year to buy Total war? I say Civilization IV. There are endless possibillities to form your civilization in the vast world where your empire once is born from the lonley nomads. A group of people that settle down and then grows to an empire. It's amazing when you think about it... that you have come this far. Your very own civilization that you have created with time and your people as your only tools. When your civilization has grown a little you just can't resist being proud of what you have created.

| I love how rich the world is in Civilization IV. It's soo dynamic. It's always changing. For example. If you don't cut down the forests they will continue to grow. You have two choises here. If you cut down forests you gain production power and can build things much faster, since you have more resources to build with and don't have to wait till next year to gain more. Or you can decide not to cut down the forest. Forests around towns make them healthier because they filtrate away toxic gases and dust etc. This is concern medieval ppl too. And There are so many resources. You don't have to use them, but they give you huge benefits (depending on what resource it is, and the situation of course). If you want to make medieval soldiers, you may for example need iron or horses if they are riding. And if you have lots of harbour cities, towns and cities near the coasts and have much fish, oisters, etc.. Then you can give some of the oisters you gain every turn to another empire in return for... yeah something else. you decide what you want back from him since you have all the oisters. You will see that there are recources everywhere of different sort. Then as you advance and realize that you can use resources like uranium, you will discover them too. They won't be visible in the middle ages since the people back then didn't even know of them. I can go on for hours, but I won't. | |

| And why is that? If I may ask. What's the replay value of Medieval II? =P And what in the game world change during a game exept from the borders? | |

| Well I've always prefered realistic games before none realistic. Civilisation is a good strategy game but Medieval II is more realistic and that's why I prefer it | |
