Medieval II is absolutly the best strategy game ever if you ask me. I love the whole total war concept but what makes this game so great is in which era it takes place and all the historical refrences. The first time you start the game you will see this awsome menu and in the backgroun you will se contours of crusaders marching towords the Holy Land.

What is so great with yhe game is that you'll never get tiered of it (I've been playing it activly since 2006). So just to show you a bit of this games buty I decide to post these cinematic clips.

This is the Danish intro:

Total War Kingdoms - Teutonic

Intro Video of Britannia Campaign

Medieval II Credit Music (with song)

The videos are very nice Very Happy
And as you say, I'm sure the game is very good, and I can understand what's good in it. But of some reason I have never got hooked. Instead I play Civilization IV It's another epic long time (i don't recomend this for ppl who just want to play for 15 minutes and then win) strategy game.

Civilization IV and Medieval II has many things in common and are therefore compareble, but there are SO many things they don't have in comon that makes them totaly different games, so I can't decide which one is the absolute best for everyone. But for me Civilization IV is just amazing and the only choise. Smile

true but Civilisation IV only focuses on Diplomacy whil Medieval II has a balance of Diplomacy and warfare. Which I personaly prefer. I also like the whole faction idea in medieval II with the whole kinship idea.
